July 25, 2010 – The death of 3D

Cinema in the third dimension reinvented itself late last year with Avatar, and since then there have been more 3D movies than we could poke a two-dimensional cel-shaded stick at.

But is 3D dying already?

It disappeared from the movies in the fifties and the eighties… will it disappear again? Continuing on from an article we read over at Gizmodo, we’ll look at if 3D will die sooner than expected… or if it’ll continue and just how we think that’ll happen.

We’ve also been playing with an HP projector and the new shiny black Xbox 360, so we’ll give you our thoughts on each of those.

All of that plus a bunch of news, some great new music to bop your head to, and the opportunity to win some headphones. Obviously, you can’t win the headphones over a podcast, but tune in next week when we might be giving away some more.
