More Android Tablets

And with more features, too.

With CES just over a week away, there’s all manner of speculation about what the next round of Android tablet devices may hold.

Motorola published a teaser video on You Tube, cleverly showing a brief history of tablets over time, but ending with a not too subtle hint that their tablet will be powered by the Honeycomb OS.

There’s other suggestions that the new OS will also support a stylus as an input device. I don’t see that as a major advantage, but rather I think it’s another thing that a user can lose. I’m firmly of the belief that the best and most convenient input device for a tablet is a finger, and while I accept that, today it might not enjoy quite the same level of accuracy that a stylus might offer, I believe that’s an obstacle that the technology will overcome in a relatively short time.
