Delays!

Apologies to everyone who has been expecting new shoes and hasn’t been seeing anything.
Hectic schedules the past couple of weeks have thrown our upload schedule into a sort of chaos, however all is beginning to look good again.
We’re currently editing the shows that have been missed and are uploading them to the site!

Windows 7 Sound Problems Addressed

One of the primary issues that I found when running my first installation of Windows 7 RTM was a very serious problem with the sound drivers for the embedded sound card on my Gigabyte motherboard. While I certainly had sound, in many areas it was simply unusable. This manifested itself in that, when using a [...]

Pleo gets his plug pulled

In a move that will probably come as a surprise to absolutely no one and annoy all 10 or 15 people in Australia who bought one, makers of the robotic dinosaur toy Pleo - Ugobe - are looking like they are themselves going extinct.

The robot which was originally designed to be a self-aware being has [...]

Video section added!

Knowing that we’ve got quite a lot of content that we’re producing, I’ve gone ahead and added a “Video” section to that old top menu bar you see before yourself.
We’re working on videos!
That’s the easy way of saying it. The hard way of saying it includes words like “photons,” “electrons,” and that all important hard-to-pronounce [...]

The good people at Microsoft have donated a copy of Office for the Mac and now our entire station is offering it to one lucky listener. All you have to do to enter to win is…

Web friendly and all…

Here at The Gadget Grill, we pride ourselves on being super web friendly.
You know… because we’re obsessed with technology, games, gadgets, toys, batteries, torches, cameras, mp3 players, headphones, moving parts, and anything a three year old can probably choke on if not watched carefully.
One thing we’re obsessed with is the Internet. To quote the little [...]
