It’s now been one year since Windows 7 was officially released, in in that first year, they’ve sold about 650000 copies a day. That’s 240 million, over the year. That translates to about a 17% market share of desktop operating systems, which I don’t think is too bad.

A new version of the OS X virtualisation software, Parallels 6, was announced this week. Parallels allows you to run your Windows applications on your Mac, and it does so in a very elegant manner, providing you with some sparking performance.
