When i was a teen in the 1990s I dreamed that computer games could eventually end up like this… I reckon it's on the list of greatest innovations ever. I will be getting my brother one for the holidays for sure.

Will you be reviewing iPhone 3.0 when it's released? I'd like to know if the new MMS, Copy/Paste, and MOST importantly (for me) A2DP stack up well - I read elsewhere that the OS becomes very sluggish when A2DP is running, but that may hopefully just be a Beta issue!

What's bugging me though is this: iPhone 3.0 is a purely firmware upgrade, so existing 3G iPhones will be able to take advantage. So, er, if the brilliant code bunnies at Apple could have included those important features all along, why the heck didn't they do it before?

Either they aren't so smart and have only *just* figured out how to get their code to work with MMS, A2DP etc (unlikely); or... they were deliberately holding out on us - and if so, the question is WHY? Because presumabley 3.0 will be a free upgrade, won't it?

Aarghh! I just don't get it.
