Under the heading of “Cute, but essentially without merit”, comes the USB Mail Box Friends Alert, from Brando.
Compatible with most common social networking sites, this is a usb stick that also monitors your email, and it tells you when new email (or contact) arrives, with a soft light, and a sound. My guess is that the sound will be totally annoying but I don’t know, as I’ve not yet tested this device.
However, my advice is that, rather than waiting desperately for the next message to arrive, you get out and about and enjoy the world.
You can always check your email on your iPhone.
