The American FTC has had a look at some product reviews that had been placed on the iTunes store by employees of Reverb Communications. It seems that these very favorable reviews that were put onto the site were reviews of their clients’ products, but no declaration of any connection between the employees, Reverb Communications, and their clients, was made.
Although Reverb Communications have been ordered to pull down the reviews, they have stated that don’t feel that this was a major problem.
Some people simply don’t get it.
