WIndows Embedded Automotive has just hit its own version 7, and it’s being used in the upcoming Nissan Leaf. It offers Silverlight support, but I’m not too sure that I want to enjoy the enhanced browsing experience offered by Silverlight while cruising down the F3 at about 100kph.
It does, however, offer real-time text-to-speech technology, and better expandability for third-party plugins, so that might be worthwhile after all,
