We’re now becoming familiar with the use of eInk displays, such as we are seeing in eReaders such as the Kindle. Seiko are now developing watches that will contain a display using eInk technology, and the word is that5 these should be available to purchase before the end of the year.
Boasting a 180 degree viewing angle, these watches will be solar powered and automatically self-adjust their time, based upon the nearest atomic clock.
