Telstra this week announced that, along with Huawei, it had completed some infrastructure tests that demonstrated downlink speeds over wireless of up to 149Mbps.
Using the 1800MHz spectrum during a six month trial, peak speeds of almost 150Mbps were registered. The Long Term Evolution (LTE) technology used during this test is viewed as the major upgrade path for Telstra’s mobile network.
