January 18, 2009 – The Office Revolution, electronic cigarettes tested live on-air, and a whole heap more!

Sick of paying for Microsoft Office? Well, this week on The Gadget Grill, we tackled The Office Revolution and showed you a couple of ways where you could save some money with some free alternatives to Microsoft’s hugely successful office suite that are just as good and in some cases better. If you don’t believe us, check out our article for more about it.

We also did a live on-the-air test of a new gadget designed to give you a cigarette that you can use in places that you normally can’t. The E-Cigarette is one of the more unusual useless gadgets we’ve seen in a while and just to see how it works, Leigh tested it live on the air. Hear him cough, croak, and generally feel what this new gadget is like.

All of that plus the usual smattering of news and a whole heap more. Check out this week’s Gadget Grill and if you’re coming in from iTunes’ podcast feed, be sure to leave us a review to tell us what you think!
